DWI-750 Low Capacity Impact Tester

.

The DWI-750 model is a Drop Weight Impact Tester designed to evaluate the impact resistance of plastic and composite materials under controlled conditions.

This equipment determines how a material reacts to a rapid impact load, simulating real-life usage conditions or impact-related failures.

⚙️ Main Features

    • Test type: Free-fall drop weight impact test.
    • Energy capacity: Variable through the addition or removal of interchangeable weights.
    • Drop height: Programmable, allowing precise adjustment of the desired impact energy.
    • Velocity measurement: Data acquisition system using an infrared (IR) optical sensor to record the actual impact velocity, automatically controlled by the software.

Applicable Standards:

  • ASTM D3763
  • ASTM D4272
  • ASTM D5628
  • ISO 6603-2, ISO 179-2, ISO 7765-2

    🧰 Hammer and Anvil System

      • Interchangeable hammer designed according to testing standards.
      • Easy replacement of hammer geometry (different tip shapes).
      • Adjustable and replaceable anvil depending on the test type or material.

     🔩 Speciemn Support

      • Base with threaded holes for securing different supports or specimen holding fixtures.
      • Pneumatic clamping system with a 76 mm diameter opening, compatible with ASTM D3763 testing requirements.

     🖥️ Operational Advantages

        • Precise control of impact energy and velocity.
        • Easy setup for different materials and thicknesses.
        • High repeatability and reliability of test results.
        • User-friendly software for data acquisition and analysis.
