¿que es un pendulo de impacto de baja capacidad?  Un péndulo de impacto de baja capacidad es un equipo de laboratorio diseñado para medir la resistencia al impacto de materiales plásticos, compuestos o no metálicos, aplicando una energía relativamente baja, generalmente entre 1 y 50 julios (J). Estos equipos se utilizan en ensayos Charpy, Izod o Tensil Impact, dependiendo de la forma de la muestra y del tipo de golpe que se aplique. Así que determina cuánta energía absorbe un material antes de fracturarse cuando se somete a un golpe o impacto súbito.
Esto permite evaluar la tenacidad, fragilidad o ductilidad del material, características esenciales para control de calidad y desarrollo de nuevos materiales.
