This Charpy and Izod Impact Tester – Capacity up to 750 J belongs to the new CHKTest series of pendulum impact testers, which has undergone a major upgrade and is part of the so-called NEW Edition 30 by Labortech.
This edition was developed to celebrate the company’s 30th anniversary and introduces not only a new design, but also many fundamental innovations in machine construction and numerous details that simplify operation for users.

Main Features of the CHK Testing Series:
- Use of pendulum impact testers according to ČSN EN ISO 148-1, ČSN EN ISO 14556, ASTM E23, ASTM E2298, GOST 9454-78, BS131-1, ZF 15-53, ČSN EN ISO 148-2, ČSN EN ISO 11343, and other company standards.
- Testing methods: Charpy, Izod, Brugger, and tensile impact testing of metallic samples.
- Machine expansion options: INSTRUMENTATION, ANGULAR ADJUSTMENT, and ROBOTIZATION.
- Centrally positioned and ergonomic control elements ensuring easy operation and testing, including status indication of individual processes.
- Compact machine control through an integrated 21.5” touch LCD monitor with rotation capability.
- Automatic pendulum arm lifting via AC motor drive.
- New automatic central sample positioning system with protection against damage to the machine base.
- Incremental sensor with high resolution up to 262,144 pulses per revolution for precise angle measurement.
- New automatic identification system for the striker and blades within the machine base.
- New support design with up to four times longer service life.
- Protective safety enclosure with electronic door opening control and high safety standards according to ČSN EN ISO 13849-1, ČSN EN ISO 12100, and ČSN EN ISO 14120, including machine work-area illumination.

¿Qué son los Péndulos de Impacto? Los péndulos de impacto o probadores de impacto son máquinas diseñadas para medir la resistencia de un material metálico ante un golpe o impacto repentino. Se utilizan principalmente en laboratorios de control de calidad, investigación de materiales e industria metalmecánica.
Estos equipos aplican una energía de impacto controlada mediante un péndulo que se deja caer desde una altura específica para romper una probeta estandarizada (generalmente bajo normas como Charpy o Izod). El sistema mide la energía absorbida por el material durante la fractura, lo que indica su tenacidad o capacidad de resistir impactos.
