Each CMM is tested at the factory for repeatability and accuracy to ensure compliance with ASME B89.4.1a-1998. Accuracy is intrinsic: Checkmaster is manufactured by Helmel to be physically straight, flat, square, and true without the need for costly software error mapping to make it correct.

 

Each Checkmaster is designed and packaged for fast and safe customer installation. All key components are protected during shipping using specially designed supports, which—once removed—ensure the CMM is ready for its first inspection.
