R500 - Roundness Tester

The R500 stands at the top of roundness measurement machines worldwide in terms of the maximum size of measurable rotational parts. It was designed to measure large and heavy workpieces while maintaining high precision. The R500 features three pneumostatically supported metrological axes for measurement and positioning, ensuring smooth frictionless movement and exceptional system rigidity.

 

The flagship application of the R500 is the characterization of large components in the energy sector (turbines, compressors, bearings), where all critical characteristics required for final product quality must be determined. The motorized table enables automatic centering of the part through a procedure integrated into the Circom software.
