The MFI 1322 Touchscreen Melt Flow Index Tester is a precision instrument designed for polymer laboratories that require high repeatability and strict compliance with international testing standards. Unlike conventional analog models, this digital system automates the calculation of melt flow characteristics, eliminating human error in data interpretation and improving measurement consistency.

 

Its intuitive touchscreen interface allows users to configure temperature profiles and preheating times in accordance with ISO 1133 and ASTM D1238 standards. The instrument supports both Method A (manual or automatic cutting of the extrudate for weighing) and Method B (measurement of piston displacement using a high-resolution optical encoder).

 

Thanks to its integrated software, the system automatically processes the relationship between mass and volume to provide MFR (Melt Flow Rate) and MVR (Melt Volume Rate) results instantly. Test data can be exported directly to a PC for industrial traceability, quality certification, and documentation purposes.
