HDT / V3216 - PC Controlled Tester

The HDT/V3216 Tester is designed to determine the Heat Deflection Temperature (HDT) and the Vicat Softening Point of plastic materials. During the test, all specimens are subjected to a constant load and immersed in a heating bath, where the temperature is increased at a standardized rate.
The heat resistance achieved by the plastic material is a critical parameter widely used for product characterization, quality control, and verification of material suitability for intended applications.
An optional software package allows the generation of graphical reports displaying specimen deformation and temperature increase as a function of time, providing a detailed analysis of material performance under thermal stress.
