HDT / V3116 - Touch Screen Control Tester

The HDT/V3116 Tester is designed to determine the Heat Deflection Temperature (HDT) and the Vicat Softening Point of plastic materials.

 

During testing, all specimens are subjected to a constant load and immersed in a heating bath where the temperature increases at a standardized rate. The heat resistance achieved by the plastic material is a critical parameter widely used for product characterization, quality control, material comparison, and verification of suitability for intended applications.

 

An optional software package enables the generation of graphical reports showing specimen deformation and temperature increase as a function of time, providing detailed analysis of material behavior under thermal loading conditions.
