Brittleness and Crystallization Tester

This instrument is designed to determine the brittleness temperature, defined as the temperature at which 50% of the test specimens fail under specified impact conditions, or when the specimens exhibit cracking on the coated surface under the required test conditions.
Accesories
- Determines the elastic recovery and crystallization effects of stressed specimens under controlled environmental conditions.
- Suitable for evaluating the low-temperature performance of plastics, elastomers, coatings, and polymeric materials.
- Provides accurate assessment of material behavior when exposed to subzero temperatures.
Features
- Basic model configured for operation with external cooling systems.
- Available versions equipped with an integrated refrigeration unit capable of reaching temperatures as low as -70°C (-94°F).
- Designed for reliable and repeatable low-temperature brittleness and crystallization testing.
- Ideal for quality control, research, product development, and material certification applications.
Standards
- ISO 812 (commonly referenced for brittleness testing applications)
- DIN 53546
- ASTM D746
