The Automatic Extrusion Plastometer is a highly reliable instrument capable of meeting the most demanding laboratory requirements for production quality control. It determines the Melt Flow Rate (MFR) through automated procedures, a fundamental test for the characterization of thermoplastic materials in accordance with various international standards.

 

The weight load is applied manually. The instrument is equipped with an extrudate cutting device consisting of an electronic timer that automatically activates the cutting blade according to the intervals set by the testing program, or manually at any time by pressing a button.

 

The heating chamber can be tilted forward, allowing the operator easier access for cleaning the test chamber after each test, improving convenience and efficiency during operation.
