The A-MeP is designed to determine the Melt Flow Rate (MFR), one of the most important tests for characterizing thermoplastic materials, while ensuring full compliance with international testing standards through an automated procedure.

The instrument features a color LCD touchscreen interface and an integrated microprocessor for complete test management. Its PID electronic temperature regulation system ensures highly accurate thermal control with a precision of 0.1°C and an operating temperature range from 80°C to 400°C.

An automatic weight lifter system (up to four masses), directly connected to the control electronics, simplifies material compaction operations. Preheating can be performed with or without the applied load.

The instrument is equipped with an automatic extrudate cutting device, consisting of an electronic timer that activates the cutting blade automatically according to the intervals programmed by the user.

The A-MeP also incorporates latest-generation sampling capabilities, a USB connection for PC communication, and compatibility with A-MeP Link software for data management and analysis.
