A-Melt Extrusion Plastometer

The A-MELT extrusion plastometer with automatic cutting is designed for determining the melt flow index of thermoplastic materials.

 

In addition to the gravimetric method (MFR – Melt Flow Rate), the instrument also performs the volumetric method (MVI – Melt Volume Index). It uses a linear displacement measurement system to detect piston movement, allowing the calculation of the volume of material extruded over a known period of time.

 

The integrated microprocessor acquires and processes the test data automatically, calculating up to 12 MFR values. Individual results and the calculated average value are displayed directly on the screen for fast and efficient analysis.
