Vertical Testing Cabinet

The FAR 25 Vertical Flammability Test Chamber is designed to determine the response of materials when exposed to a flame source. The equipment evaluates critical parameters such as flame persistence time, afterglow duration following the removal of the ignition source, and the length of the charred area on the tested specimen.
The FAR 25 vertical flammability test is widely used for the evaluation and acceptance of materials intended for the aerospace industry, as well as for the certification of protective textiles and garments that require fire-resistant properties.
Designed to comply with major international standards, the chamber provides precise and repeatable test conditions, allowing the assessment of the fire behavior of plastics, composites, textiles, foams, and other materials used in critical safety applications.
Applicable Standards:
-
FAR 25, Appendix F, Part I
-
BS 7230
-
Federal Test Method Standard 191A, Method 5903
Applications:
-
Aircraft interior materials
-
Fire-resistant fabrics and protective clothing
-
Engineering plastics and composite materials
-
Foams, insulation materials, and coatings
-
Quality control and research of flame-resistant materials
