The G-Force Closure Efforts Gauge allows a user to measure the Force, Velocity, and Work that it takes to close a vehicle door, decklid, liftgate, or hood in one simple push. The one-piece device attaches to the door through an industrial-strength suction cup with three stabilizer feet that can fit the most varied of door surfaces. Choose to display velocity, force, work, or any combination of the three through LMI's G-Force Utility Software. In addition to viewing the readings on the screen, the user can transmit the readings to LMI's Universal Gauge Interface data collection software through the included Bluetooth Low Energy dongle.

 

The G-Force also has a dedicated internal auditor mode that keeps track of the highest no-latch reading and lowest latched readings so the user doesn't have to. The user sets an acceptable range between the two and the G-Force will alert the user when the condition has been met so they can record only what needs to be recorded.
